Description from the seller
Ribera
Original work belonging to the series Water Memory, a pictorial investigation that explores the landscape through the relationship between water, vegetation, and light.
The composition organizes space through a succession of planes where reflections, vegetation, and the horizon intertwine in a chromatic structure of great subtlety. The brushstroke remains visible, alternating areas of greater definition with others of gestural character that add depth and movement to the painted surface.
The palette of blues, greens, and violets builds a serene atmosphere where water acts as the visual axis of the composition. The painting develops a contemporary figurative language that synthesizes the landscape without losing its chromatic richness or its evocative capacity.

R. Serra is a visual artist based in Spain whose practice centers on pictorial research and the mechanisms of image construction. Her training in Plastic Arts, with a specialization in painting, together with later studies in graphic design, shapes a language that places painting in dialogue with the aesthetics and visual logics of digital culture.
Her work investigates memory as a process of editing and reconstruction, where lived and imagined memories converge to generate images that challenge the stability of representation. Through painting, she explores the tensions between presence and absence, experience and fiction, proposing scenes suspended between the intimate and the universal.
Over the last decade she has developed an exhibition career that includes group shows in national and international galleries, consolidating her presence in the contemporary art context.
