Superb regulator pocket watch with a stunning case featuring a theme of Greco-Roman wrestling in perfect working order.
Case: Argentan, very fine engraving depicting wrestlers, double cuvette, knurled and festooned bezel,
Diameter: 70 mm excluding the pendant bow,
Thickness: 24 mm,
Weight: 230 grams,
Running condition: Yes,
Escapement: anchor, 15 jewels,
Winding: pendant,
Setting the time: By the push button on the right side of the case,
Dial: White enamel and very light beige, with a hairline and a chip near the 8, minutes indicated by gold dots,
Small seconds: at six o’clock,
Numerals: Double Arabic for hours and minutes,
Hands: Gold,
Glass: Mineral with signs of wear,
Hallmark: "Déposé argentan" on the inner bezel as well as a square hallmark with interwoven letters,
Inscriptions: "Régulateur" on the dial.
A superb piece thanks to its Frainier-type case (1840-1927), very little polished, which is rare, and in perfect working order.
