Description from the seller

Elegant and important original Moët & Chandon champagne cooler, made in France in the 1960s for champagne service in the finest restaurants, hotels and prestigious venues.

This is a large-scale professional model, characterized by a heavy metal (pewter) frame with a satin interior and a refined glossy black exterior finish enriched by the famous Moët & Chandon logo silkscreened in gold.

The generous proportions allow chilling several bottles of champagne or wine at once, making it still perfectly usable today as well as highly decorative.

The piece represents an icon of the image of the renowned French producer and is today highly sought after by champagne memorabilia collectors, interior designers, and enthusiasts of vintage barware.

The base bears the French production marks.

Dimensions

* Diameter: 36 cm
* Height: 21.5 cm

Materials

* Heavy metal / pewter
* Satin interior
* Black lacquered exterior with a gold logo

Conditions

Good overall condition, consistent with age and use.

Shows normal signs of wear, light abrasions and wear to the black finish, particularly along the upper edge. The interior shows the physiological signs of use due to contact with ice and bottles.

The conditions are clearly documented in the photographs.

A striking piece with great presence, ideal for collections dedicated to the world of champagne, French hospitality, historic advertising, and the art of the table of the twentieth century.

The photographs are an integral part of the description.
