Title: Precious Fruits
Year: 2025
Technique: Oil on canvas
Size of the painted image: 60 × 60 cm
The canvas also features an additional white border around the perimetral edge of about 5 cm per side, not included in the measurements above, intended for possible framing and/or mounting.
Unique work, completely handmade.
The composition draws inspiration from the tradition of classical still life and depicts a whole pomegranate, a half opened to glimpse its seeds, and a cluster of red grapes, bathed in a warm, soft light that enhances their chromatic richness and the tactile quality. The harmony between the crimson tones of the pomegranate, the violet reflections of the grapes, and the neutral background creates an elegant visual balance, inspired by major European figurative painting. In person, one can appreciate the depth of the glazes, the delicate chiaroscuro transitions, and the characteristic texture of oil painting, elements that photography can only partially convey.
Italian artist born in 1978, who has developed an autonomous painting path rooted in the European figurative tradition, with particular attention to oil painting. Her research sits within a cultural continuum linked to the Italian painting tradition, developed through personal study and a constant practice over time.
Over the years she has developed a recognizable painting language, aimed at timeless figuration, in dialogue with the history of classical art reinterpreted with a contemporary sensitivity.
Her works are present in private collections in Italy and internationally, with growing interest from collectors in Europe, the United States, and Asia. She lives and works in Italy.
Shipping: the work will be carefully packaged inside a professional rigid tube, suitable for transporting artworks, to ensure maximum safety during shipping.
Note: the colors of the work may appear slightly different depending on monitor settings. Viewing it in person allows full appreciation of the depth of colors, glazes, and the quality of the painting surface.
The staged images are for illustrative purposes only and have the sole aim of showing the work placed in a home context, maintaining realistic proportions relative to a 60 × 60 cm canvas.
