Description from the seller
Isaac Kaplan (1969–) – The Musicians
Oil on canvas depicting a group of musicians and singers gathered around a keyboard, in a composition unusually colorful and rhythmic.
This work is characteristic of Isaac Kaplan's pictorial language. The figures with stylized faces, large expressive eyes, and rosy cheeks intertwine in a dense composition where the musical instruments become an integral part of the overall movement. The luminous palette, dominated by blues, greens, yellows and pinks, reinforces the joyful and poetic nature of the scene.
The artist develops here his very personal universe, located between expressionism, Cubist influences, and Art Nouveau, where music becomes a true pretext for an orchestration of colors and forms.
