Rare and complete white porcelain tea service with rich gilding, marked “Schneider et fils” on the bottom of every piece. Octagonal/poliedric shape, decoration of gilded panels on a white background, monogram “PD” in black and gold Gothic script on each item. Saucers with a gilded radiating pattern.

Schneider et fils was one of the leading Parisian merchants and decorators of luxury porcelain in the first half of the 19th century (Restoration/Louis-Philippe period, about 1815-1850), known for custom commissions with monograms and very high-quality gilding.

Composition: 8 teacups, 8 saucers, sugar bowl with lid, milk jug, finger bowl. Total 19 pieces.
Conditions: excellent, no breakage or visible restoration, gilding intact.
Piece of great interest for collectors of 19th-century Parisian porcelain.
