Beck Limoges platters are routinely dated by specialists and auction houses to the early 20th century.

Elite Limoges decorative plate made in France (early 20th century).
It features a delightful colourful scene of a bearded musician in traditional dress playing a lute/mandolin, while a smiling monk in a blue habit sits at the table. Height: 3 cm
Pretty scalloped edge with original gold trim
Clear backstamp: ELITE L FRANCE The exact “ELITE L FRANCE” style (often in green or similar) is documented for the period 1896–1920. Many comparable pieces with this mark (including decorative plates and bowls with similar scalloped edges and gold trim) are dated to roughly 1900–1915/1920.
Perfect for display on a shelf, in a china cabinet, or hung on the wall (plate hanger not included). A lovely piece for Limoges collectors, lovers of French porcelain, or anyone who enjoys quirky vintage decor with a story.

There is honest age-related wear to the gold rim (some loss/rubbing visible on close inspection) and minor marks on the back and foot consistent with its age. No major chips or cracks to the face of the plate.
