First edition, and printing of this fascinating travelogue guide to Holland, described by Beatrix Jungman who shares her observations and explorations of various cities and areas in the region, including Utrecht, Overysel, and Groningen among others.
The book is wonderfully illustrated with 75 striking full page colour plates, captioned on the tissue guards, by Nico Jungman. Published by Adam and Charles Black, London 1904. The book is bound in half leather with brown boards. The spine has six compartments with raised bands, gilt lettering within dark brown labels to second compartments. Top page edges gilt.

Condition
The book is beautifully designed and illustrated. External covers are clean and in nice shape, and with some scuffing to the leather, and light wear at corners, and at head and foot of spine. Internally the book is in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean with light foxing on the margin of some pages and page edges. The colour plates are bright and in very nice condition (Handsome Copy) (Please see pictures).
