Maren Roelofsen (1984) - The Beach

The Beach is an original, hand-painted artwork that brings to life the relaxed atmosphere of a sunny coast. As part of my signature style in abstract expressionism, this painting invites you to drift away to a place where time slows down and nature takes center stage.

Layers of light and dark blue flow together with warm shades of yellow and soft peach, creating a playful landscape in which palm leaves, reeds, water, rolling hills, and distant mountains subtly emerge. The abstract shapes leave room for one’s own imagination, so every viewer discovers something different.

The Beach captures the feeling of a warm sea breeze, the rustle of the palm trees, and the calm you experience when looking out over the coast. The painting brings light, color, and a relaxed vacation mood into every space and continues to surprise with its layering.

The artwork will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard tube. This ensures the artwork arrives undamaged. It is very easy to mount the canvas onto a frame.
