The Mona Lisa is transformed into a fluid image, sucked into a vortex that distills its visual essence. From the center of the movement emerges a real faucet that pierces the canvas, from which a drop descends: the final “concentrate” of the icon.
The work engages in dialogue the myth of classical art with a contemporary and industrial aesthetics, suggesting that even the most famous images can be decomposed, extracted and reformulated into a new matter.
The shipment is insured. The package is carefully packed,
the drop is shipped separately from the faucet, to be screwed onto the faucet (by hand). thus to ensure a safer shipment.
The canvas work 350 g is mounted on a wooden frame, the faucet is iron, the drop is resin with an iron core, frame not included.
