Description from the seller
Swiss pocket watch from the renowned ARSA company founded in 1898 by Auguste Reymond.
The manual-wind movement (15 jewels) dates it to the mid-20th century.
Enamel white dial with Arabic numerals (a rarity for watches in the “alpine pasture” style) circumscribed by a bezel with a floral motif in colored enamels, all studded with gold-colored dots; at the center a depiction of two men and grazing cattle, repeated at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.
The alpine theme is echoed on the case back of the sturdy silver-colored metal case, with a bucolic scene of pastoral life.
Original, used and functional.
The dial presents a repair between 10 and 11, and there are signs of wear on the case, all as in the photo.
