Temptation explores the moment when innocence yields to experience. The balloon dog, a universal symbol of lightness, playfulness and nostalgia, appears covered with graffiti marks that function as metaphors of time, choices and the influences that shape identity. Far from representing destruction, these interventions reveal transformation: each layer adds a new story.
The small apple positioned beside the figure introduces a subtle reference to the imagery of temptation and knowledge. Without imposing a single reading, the element invites the observer to reflect on the moments that alter our course and on the inevitability of losing our naivety.
The contrast between the hyper-realism of the reflections, the spontaneous language of street art and the delicacy of an ephemeral object creates a tension between purity and imperfection, preservation and intervention. In Temptation, Hione offers a reflection on how every experience, desired or unexpected, leaves a permanent mark and redefines who we are.
