R. Serra’s original acrylic-on-canvas work titled “Bodegón con Figura - XL”, 100 by 70 cm, vertical, signed by hand, created in 2026, portrays a contemporary still life with a figure and is sold directly from the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
"Still Life with Figure" is an original work belonging to the series "Chromatic Still Lifes", where the human figure is incorporated into the still life as another element of the pictorial composition.
The work develops a language built through planes of color, a free brushwork, and an open structure that keeps the execution process visible. The linear strokes, with an appearance close to charcoal, traverse the surface, reinforcing the painting's dynamism and establishing a continuous dialogue between drawing and color.
The presence of the figure, the vase, and everyday objects organizes a space of great chromatic intensity, where formal synthesis and the energy of gesture turn the painting into the true protagonist.

R. Serra is a visual artist living in Spain whose practice revolves around pictorial research and the mechanisms of image construction. His training in Plastic Arts, with a specialty in painting, along with further studies in graphic design, shapes a language that places painting in dialogue with the aesthetics and visual logics of digital culture.
His work studies memory as a process of editing and reconstruction, where lived and imagined memories converge to generate images that question the stability of representation. Through painting, he explores the tensions between presence and absence, experience and fiction, proposing scenes suspended between the intimate and the universal.
Over the last decade, he has developed a distinguished exhibition trajectory that includes group shows in national and international galleries, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art context.
