AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Limited-edition sculpture in a series of 25 bronze and corten steel pieces created by the Spanish sculptor Pancho Porto.
The sculpture is delivered hand-signed and numbered, accompanied by its respective certificate of authenticity.
The sculpture is new in condition; shipping is carried out within a maximum of two days, and the sculpture is delivered well packaged.

Pancho Porto (Santiago de Compostela, 1988) began his training in the specialty of artistic cabinetmaking at the Antonio Failde center in Ourense. There he first encountered disciplines such as carving, drawing, and modeling, and, most importantly, hands-on workshop work.
Later he enrolled at the Mestre Mateo School of Arts and Crafts in Santiago de Compostela, where he studied what would become his main discipline: sculpture. It is at this school where he began working with materials that would be fundamental in his work, such as steel or clay.
Parallely, Porto continues his training personally, researching other materials such as bronze or resins and their multiple uses and finishes, leaning toward the use of bronze and steel as the definitive materials for his works.

After this initial training phase, he decides to set up his studio on the banks of the Sarela River, very close to the place where he was born. It is here that he begins his particular theoretical and practical research into the relationship between the materials used in each work and the message they convey. This leads him to seek new proposals when communicating and narrating his story. Since then, this has been the usual through-line of his works, adding complexity and depth to the whole of his output, with themes that touch on both social issues and his personal experiences.
