Antique Dennison “Diamond” fob pocket watch – functional – Swiss 15-Jewel movement – including Albert Chain – circa 1920
For sale is an elegant antique men’s pocket watch in the classic Lepine construction from the Art Deco era (approx. 1915–1925). The set impresses with its superbly preserved case from the renowned English manufacturer Dennison and is sold together with a solid, matching Albert chain including a T-bar.
Case & Material:
The case is from the well-known Dennison Watch Case Co. and bears on the inner lid the coveted quality hallmark “DIAMOND” (A.L.D.). This stands for the manufacturer’s highest-grade gold-filled finish, which was accompanied by a wear guarantee of 20–25 years at the time.

Special feature: On the inside of the lid there are original, fine watchmaker’s notches (including dated 1929 and 1955), which document the service history of this watch impressively.
Dial:
White enamel dial in excellent condition with flowing Arabic Art Nouveau numerals. Delicate, blued steel hands in a poire style. Separate, recessed small seconds at the 6 o’clock position. Outer minute track.
Movement & Function:
High-quality, clean Swiss bridge-lever movement with fine wave decoration (Genève stripes).
Specifications:
15 jewels, screwed balance.
Regulation: Balance cock with fine regulation (labeled with R/S and F/S).
Condition: The watch is fully functional. It winds smoothly, starts running immediately, and keeps good time for its age.
