Description from the seller
3D Mondrian #01
Edition 1/10 — 60 × 80 cm
This work is part of the 3D Mondrian series, a project that reinterprets the visual language of Piet Mondrian from a contemporary and three-dimensional perspective.
Through meticulous 3D modeling, the piece transforms the orthogonal structure, the blocks of primary color, and the characteristic black lines of its plastic universe into a composition with volume, depth, and sculptural presence.
The planes stop behaving as simple two-dimensional surfaces and become superimposed physical modules, separated by black structures and defined by different depths. The lighting, soft shadows, and polished finishes provide an architectural and almost tangible sensation, as if the composition had been built rather than painted.
3D Mondrian #01 thus offers a contemporary reinterpretation of one of the most recognizable languages of modern art, preserving its chromatic and structural essence while introducing volume, light, and materiality.
Cess is an artist specializing in digital art, CGI, and artificial intelligence, with a solid international track record. They have collaborated with brands such as Apple, Google, Prada, Vogue, and MTV, developing projects where creativity, technology, and contemporary visual language converge.
