Provencal or Italianate landscape depicting a mas / country house in ochre and Siena earth tones, under a clear sky, surrounded by dense vegetation (olive trees, greenery). Fluid handling, broad and vibrant brushwork, color palette characteristic of the artist's early Paris period. Beautiful luminosity and spatial construction through successive planes.
