Description from the seller
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always harbored. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.
Title - fuck colors
Technique: resin
Dimensions: 34x12x24 cm
Condition: new
Certificate of authenticity - hand-engraved signature.
Edition: limited edition 999ex gold

In recent years his work has gained important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notable among these are: appearance at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Centre of Art and Culture, and inclusion of his works in the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to signatory of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the track of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
