Antique Art Nouveau wine carafe (crystal / silver-plated mounting), circa 1900

A beautiful antique wine carafe (so-called claret jug) from the Art Nouveau period (circa 1900). This is both an elegant collector's item and a fully functional addition to the festive table.
Hand-cut crystal glass with rich geometric and star-shaped decor.
Metal collar, shaped handle and hinged lid with a plastic Art Nouveau motif of vines, leaves and grapes. Surface finish with original patina (silver-plated).
Height: 35 cm
Condition: Very well preserved, the glass is free of cracks and dents, the lid mechanism is fully functional. Original period patina on the metal.
