Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that 20th-century Italian art has exerted on him, with masterful influences from Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including television programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as sets for the GEO program on Rai 3.
