πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and mover of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of brightly colored sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, nudged by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — especially Rockit (1983), from which its name derives. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
