DOXA pocket watch with hand-wound movement, case in silver 800, 50 mm diameter, dating to circa 1890–1900, in working order.
Description from the seller
DOXA – silver key-wound pocket watch, ca. 1890–1900.
I offer an original Swiss pocket watch by DOXA from the late 19th century.
Movement signed DOXA, cylinder escapement, in working order. Serial number matches on the movement and case, confirming the originality of the set. The alignment of numbers and the low serial number indicate an early production period of the watch, dating to the end of the 19th century.
The case is made of 800 silver. Case diameter 50 mm.
Condition as shown in the photos:
• movement in working order,
• original enamel dial with cracks,
• no key for winding and setting,
• natural patina and original elements preserved.
An interesting collectible from the early period of DOXA, with an originally paired movement and case and matching serial numbers.
The photos show the actual state of the item and are an integral part of the description.
