Description from the seller

Elegant parata vase with lid, produced by a Capodimonte manufactory of the 20th century.

The vase features an ovoid body on a square base, entirely hand-decorated with polychrome neoclassical scenes: female figures in classical dress, landscapes and floral garlands. The neck is adorned with a continuous band of dancing putti. Characteristic are the two large handles molded in the shape of satyr mascarons with gilded terminals.

The domed lid, crowned by a gilded flame finial, repeats the decoration with a landscape scene. Rich finishes and frames in fine gold on the rim, base, handles and lid. A piece of great decorative impact typical of Neapolitan production of the period.

Mark:
On the bottom there is the cobalt blue mark "N" topped by a five-point crown, the distinctive mark of the Capodimonte manufactories of the 20th century.
A genuine piece with the mark, ideal as a central element on a piece of furniture or a fireplace. Shipping will be careful with protective packaging.
