Professor Ed Osenbrüggen - Die Urschweiz - around 1870

Die Urschweiz.
Classic homeland of the Tell legend, glorified by Schiller’s song of freedom.

The book describes the historical regions of Switzerland around Lake Lucerne (the Vierwaldstättersee), which are considered the cradle (the “Urschweiz”) of the Swiss Confederation.
Content: It describes the historical region of the Swiss Alps (around Lake Lucerne) and serves as the setting of the myth of Wilhelm Tell.
