Catalina Anderle - After the rain - XL

Modern, large-format abstract landscapes are created in my studio from a fascination with the fleeting moment, changing light, colors, and moods. They are more than paintings – they are emotions trapped in frames. They feature subtle, pastel tones that bring calm and harmony to interiors. Sometimes a color-rich accent draws the eye. The true magic happens when light reaches it – then golden details come alive, lending the composition noble elegance and a note of mystery. It is a painterly record of awe at the power of nature and the vastness of space.

Technique: original acrylic technique on 370 g/m stretched canvas, thick texture. No wooden frame.
Overall canvas dimensions approximately: 100 x 180 cm
Image dimensions / recommended size of wooden loom: about 90 x 170 cm.

Because of the painting’s size, the canvas will be rolled into a tube and shipped in a thick tube and box.

The painting is varnished, protected from external factors. Carefully packed before shipping.

Colors of the painting may differ slightly from photos due to personal screen settings and interior lighting.
The gold reflective effect in photos is achieved with appropriate lighting of the painting.
Photos for comparison are taken in daylight and under lamp lighting with different light intensities from various directions.

The appearance and reflective effect of the painting on your wall will depend on your lighting.

Important information about my paintings:
Paintings are often created with expressive, strong, and sometimes seemingly careless brush and spatula strokes. The thick texture, paint speckles, irregularities, and pronounced brush marks are not flaws but form the foundation of this aesthetics and its greatest value. They emphasize the craftsmanship and physicality of the creative process in the age of ubiquitous, digitally generated smooth images. It is exactly these elements that are the “evidence of human presence.”

Damage occurring during transport:
Please check the condition of the shipment at delivery. If you notice damage to the packaging, file a damage report with the courier. Otherwise there will be no possibility of filing a claim with the transport company.

Anderle is a Polish painter, graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
She creates works in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, often with thick paint textures, forming original thematic cycles of images rich in light and shadow, color play, and mysterious, atmospheric narratives.
Her paintings are in private collections around the world, including the United States, Japan, Singapore, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
