Description from the seller
"So fresh, So clean", oil on MDF, 27.9 x 22.9 cm, 2026
Oil painting on a 1 cm thick MDF board.
Support prepared on all sides.
Painting with varnish (removable).
Signed, dated and titled on the back.
The painting belongs to a series entitled "The Great Catsby", started in 2020, which centers on the imposing behavior of cats.
This series consists of small-format oil paintings and draws its main aesthetic inspiration from Oriental art and Art Nouveau, especially through the use of ornamented, standardized and geometric elements.
In these works, priority is given to chromatic and compositional harmony, created with elements, objects or patterns conceived and/or assembled in Photoshop to create unique environments for each painting.
The works in this series can be distinguished by the use of frontal viewpoint and lack of background perspective, as well as by the ornate and/or geometric objects and planes that surround and exalt the figure of the cat.
*IMPORTANT: Due to restrictions imposed by Portuguese carriers and shipping limitations that are beyond my control, orders cannot be shipped to the United States.
