Richard Chamberlain (1934-2025) - The Swannery

This is a painting titled "The Swannery," which was painted by Richard Chamberlain (actor).

I am certain that the work is an original of the late actor Richard Chamberlain (also known for the film "The Thorn Birds"), as this painting was given to my now-deceased mother about 27 years ago by Richard Chamberlain.

On the back of the painting there is a dedication from Richard Chamberlain to my mother, dated June 4, 1999. My mother had her birthday on June 4. So at that time the painting was a birthday gift from Richard Chamberlain to my mother.

Frame size: height approx. 51.5 cm, width approx. 61.5 cm, depth approx. 3.2 cm
Painted image area: height approx. 32.5 cm, width approx. 42.3 cm
Total weight, including frame: approx. 2.4 kg

It is used but in good condition. It shows minor signs of wear and aging. The picture frame has a few larger damages, especially on the edges (see photos).

I inherited the painting. This is a private sale.
