Subject and Theme:

"Drip N°5 – Red Line Edition" is a vibrant, contemporary tribute to one of the most iconic objects in fashion history: the Chanel No. 5 bottle. An eternal symbol of elegance, femininity, and refinement, here reinterpreted with a bold, urban look in which pop art meets the irreverence of street culture.

The classic silhouette is kept intact, but immersed in a whirl of color, paint, and neon light. The CHANEL lettering, crossed out by a bright red line, does not negate the myth: it elevates it through transgression, making it current, alive, accessible.

Technique and Creation:

The bottle shape is highlighted by a fluorescent paint frame, while a diagonal red LED bar crosses the composition, becoming an artistic gesture and provocation. In the background, a gestural explosion of red, blue, fuchsia and orange – obtained with dripping technique and textured brushstrokes – transforms the product’s static nature into pure expression.

The contrast between the typographic precision of the label and the painterly chaos of the surface creates a strong, contemporary, impactful visual language.

Inspiration and Curiosity:

"Drip N°5 – Red Line Edition" does not destroy the icon, it reinterprets it. The work was born from the desire to pay homage to the timeless beauty of the Chanel bottle, making it the protagonist of a new visual narrative: bolder, messier, freer.

A homage to its perfect shape, which withstands the blows of modernity and irony. An object of design that has marked eras, transformed into an urban art piece for a new generation.
