LEDMansion - Arcade Icons Set

Subject and Theme:

“Arcade Icons Set” is a lot consisting of four luminous works dedicated to some of the most recognizable icons of video game culture.

The first two works celebrate Pac-Man’s universe, with the yellow protagonist placed inside his famous maze and surrounded by colorful ghosts. The other two reinterpret two instantly recognizable symbols from the Super Mario imaginary: the star and the red mushroom.

Each subject is transformed by a neon-effect LED element that follows its silhouette and enhances its visual presence, creating a compact, cohesive and strongly pop collection.

The result is a lot that unites nostalgia, arcade culture and contemporary design, turning screen-born symbols into true wall-mounted luminous presences.

Technique and Creation:

The four works are made on a 1 cm Forex rigid support, with a coating in transparent resin, protective and scratch-resistant on the front.

The 12V Neon-effect LED integration enhances the main subjects and creates a strong, uniform light.

In the two panels dedicated to Pac-Man, the yellow LED highlights the protagonist and dialogues with the colors of the maze and the ghosts.

The star is highlighted by a warm luminous outline, while the red mushroom is enhanced by a light that follows its distinctive silhouette.

The works are designed to work both individually and as a complete composition. Displayed side by side, they form a small luminous gallery dedicated to the history of gaming.

Inspiration and Curiosity:

This lot arises from the meeting of two universes that have marked different generations of players.

Pac-Man represents one of the origins of arcade culture: mazes, chasing, scores and endless matches. Its yellow silhouette has become over time a universal symbol of video games.

The star and the mushroom recall the world of Super Mario and two of its most iconic elements. The star represents energy, invincibility and possibility, while the mushroom recalls growth, transformation and power-ups.

Together in the same lot, these four subjects tell a part of the history of video game culture through simple, immediately recognizable shapes.

LED light brings these symbols off the screen and turns them into contemporary art objects, able to create atmosphere even when the video game is off.

A lot designed for retro gaming enthusiasts, pop culture collectors and for those who want to create a wall dedicated to the icons that defined arcade and console imagination.
