Photo taken during the filming of the movie Help in 1964, inland in the London countryside. A surreal war film tied to the hippie imagination that opposed the U.S.–Vietnam conflict and the concept of war in general. The film was low-budget, and the actors had neither campers nor chairs nor other kinds of comforts. In the photo we see John Lennon and Ringo Starr in a moment of leisure from the shoots.
Limited edition.
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth cotton paper 305gsm. 4 cm Passe-partout. Archival inks guaranteed for 150 years. Photograph with the artist’s original stamp and signature.

Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a still photographer from 1960 to today. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to join the team of Luigi Pratulon’s Press Office (then still photographer for Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita). He was later sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the outset of their success. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.
