Astronomical educational wall map – attributed to Interdidact – Sweden – ca. 1960
Professionally shipped – more than 950 five-star reviews worldwide.
Vintage astronomical school wall map with a graphical depiction of the Earth's yearly orbit around the Sun. The different positions of the Earth are shown along the orbit, complemented with months, zodiac signs and polar projections. This design was published by Interdidact in Sweden, with Ansgar Roth as editor after an original by N. Ringström; identical labeled copies are known, but on this map the publisher's credit is not present. Executed in striking blue, yellow and green tones and mounted between black wooden rods.
Map dimensions about 100 x 60 cm, total width including rods about 110 cm. Good vintage condition with normal signs of aging and wear.
