​A piece of the history of French crystal:
​The origin of this model is exceptional. In 1787, King Louis XVI authorized the relocation of the "Cristallerie de la Reine Marie-Antoinette" (originally in Sèvres) to the coal mines of Montcenis (near Le Creusot, Burgundy) due to the excellent quality of its fuel.
​This prestigious manufactory operated there until 1833, when it was jointly acquired by the legendary firms Baccarat and Saint-Louis.
