Distilled in 1971, "Mac Dugan over 8 years old" is the most sought after of Mac Dugan whiskies. Legend has it that in the 16th century the fierce race of Mac Dugan began to produce this noble liquor from the barley grown in the Scottish Highlands and the pure, crystal clear water that has flowed in the streams since time began. The ancient techniques, jealously preserved by the family, have been handed down from generation to generation. This exceptional whisky is the result of a careful blending of selected qualities of grain and malt matured in seasoned oak casks, in which it mellows and develops that special flavour acclaimed by connoisseurs throughout the world. Produced and bottled in Edinburgh, Scotland by Peter J. Russell & Co. Ltd., this rare vintage bottle (75cl, 40% ABV) has been remarkably preserved and was originally imported to Italy by the historic G. & L. F.lli CORA S.p.A. of Turin, making it an outstanding addition to any collection.
