Dinner service (7) - Ceramic - Zeh Scherzer, RP artist

Exquisite and distinctive delicate freshwater fish service in fine white porcelain from the historic Bavarian manufacturer Zeh Scherzer (Rehau), dating from the post-war period. All pieces bear on the bottom the official green mark with a stylized crown.
The decorations are of high quality and feature splendid, detailed illustrations of freshwater fish, different on each plate, all accompanied by the artist's initials "RP". The rims are adorned with a rich two-point leaf gold motif that repeats itself, highlighted by a second thin gold filet.
The lot consists of 7 pieces in total:
• 1 Large Oval Serving Platter: Length 36 cm x Width 25 cm. Weight: 930 g. Signed "RP" with model number "36" impressed in the ceramic.
• 1 Boat-shaped Sauce Boat with attached underplate: Composed of a cup without handle fused onto an integrated saucer. Cup width 13 cm, total height 8 cm, saucer diameter 16 cm. Weight: 378 g. Decorated with 3 fish from the same freshwater series.
• 5 Flat Plates: Diameter 24 cm. Average weight 433 g each. Each plate features a different fish.
Conditions and Notes for Collectors (Maximum Transparency):
The service shows signs of age and uneven wear on the gilded profiles of the plates and the tray.
• 4 flat plates are structurally intact (no chips or hairlines).
• 1 plate has a chipped edge (included in the lot as a display or replacement piece).
• The large oval serving platter and the sauce boat are structurally sound and in good vintage condition.
