French contemporary artist, Léo Varek today develops a series of pop canvases inspired by the codes of street art, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental murals, notably in Europe, including an intervention of more than 600 m² in Courchevel in France. This background directly informs my current approach, more condensed but still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped worldwide. Each canvas is handmade in my workshop in France, using mixed techniques blending acrylic and aerosol spray.
I work spontaneously to maintain tension in the gesture, strong contrasts, and a real vibrancy of colors.
