This image presents an abstract mixed-media diptych, composed of two adjacent panels that form a continuous composition. The work is characterized by a deep, tactile materiality, giving the surface a tangible quality.
A predominantly cream-white background with pale pink undertones serves as the canvas, while the central part is dominated by a thick, highly textured horizontal band. This band, resembling a relief, is a rich interweaving of shades of pink, purple, dark magenta, and flashes of sparkling gold.
The texture seems formed by granular materials, perhaps mixed with paint, that catch and reflect light, creating a sense of dynamism and depth. The transition between the textured band and the background is blended, with splashes and spots of color extending upward and downward, imparting a sense of organic movement.
The diptych, divided vertically down the center, presents a visual continuity that unites the two panels into a single harmonious view.

Giusy Curto Pelle is a young entrepreneur. She pursues her main profession in the artistic field, being a doctor in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, but she has always harbored a deep interest in exploring her own artistic and expressive form.

She began her training by enrolling at the Filippo Juvara Art Institute in San Cataldo, choosing the experimental track in Cataloging and Relief of Cultural Heritage. After earning her diploma she chose to continue her studies by enrolling at the University of Palermo, at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, following the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage program.

Her love for the artistic world from the creative perspective, which she had moved away from for several years, has brought her back to approach this sector once again. Her momentary artistic research is directed toward the right blend between tradition and innovation in search of her own artistic language.

In her works one can see the presence of traditional techniques, materials, and subjects elaborated in a modern key with a contemporary style and language.

Her study and research of materials continually lead her to carry out numerous experiments; indeed, we see the use of flat or shaded colors that intersect with touches of material painting, which creates signs on the canvas almost as if building a new texture, in relief, often highlighted by the use of metallic leaves.

The canvases will be shipped with frames and carefully packed for safe transport.
They will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
