Le Yack - Tender Is the Night - Hand signed

The beating heart of the corpus, finally found. On a white concrete terrace overlooking a cove, a deep garnet red convertible, lacquered and vibrant, with a rounded hood and gleaming chrome. Leaning against the wing, a brunette in a white one-piece swimsuit, hair piled up, ivory sunglasses, one leg crossed in front of the other: she gazes toward the horizon, sovereign. Below, cobalt and turquoise sea, with bright saturation, where a few bathers dive and float, a pink buoy; to the right, the white stairs and the cubic volumes of a Mediterranean villa rise along the cliff. Semantically, the axis is classical and perfectly held: the red of the car body against the blue of the marine abyss, the white of the swimsuit and the stone as breathing space. The woman stands at the edge — of the cliff, of departure, of desire. Subtle fullness, midday light, strong shadows.

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
