Le Yack - Walden - Hand signed

A gray wooden pontoon, moss-green, advances over dark water speckled with water lilies. Squatting at the edge, a blonde with a loose bun, wearing denim overalls over bare skin, stretches her leg and brushes the surface with the tip of her toes: a single circular ripple originates under her foot. Semiotically, the entire tableau hinges on this tiny contact — the gesture of testing the water before entering, the precise moment when the body and the element recognize each other. The concentric circle is the sole “action” of the canvas, and it becomes its optical and symbolic center. The palette, built entirely on deep greens, driftwood grays, and the gold of the hair, contrasts with the marine blues of the rest of the corpus: here, light is filtered, forest-like, almost aquatic.

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, aka Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a artistic director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
