LeYack, On the Road - Hand-signed, a 40 × 40 cm limited edition print (20 copies, individually numbered) signed by the artist, produced in 2022 in France in a realist portrait style using digital painting.
Description from the seller
Under a sky whitened by heat, the sign “DRIVE-IN” in pink neon letters, a row of palm trees, telegraph poles: 1950s America in all its radiant banality. A carhop in a light blue uniform, starched cap, pink stockings and white roller skates, leans toward the turquoise sedan window to hand a tray to two milkshakes crowned with cream. In the interior, the driver is only a dark silhouette. Semiotically, the scene is a ballet of surfaces: the lacquer of the bodywork, the chrome of the rearview mirror, the pressed skirt, the milk foam — everything shines, everything is service and youth. The red of the lips and of the sign pierces the pastel range like a hint of desire. Washed-out palette, almost bleached by the sun, in a painting style of illustration heightened by a broad brushstroke.

About the artist:

Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
