LeYack's 2022 hand-signed giclée print on canvas, Play It As It Lays, in a limited edition of 20, 40 x 40 cm, signed by the artist front and back, with a certificate of authenticity, produced in France and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Composition of a radical simplification: three white and gray volumes, a bare mast, a seascape horizon line and a sky of clear blue, cloudless. In the foreground, the pale pink Ford Thunderbird occupies the full width, lacquered hood, immaculate chrome and white sides. At the wheel, a woman in a patterned bikini, silk scarf tied under her chin, cat-eye black sunglasses: she looks neither at the sea nor at the viewer, but at a lateral off-screen point. Semiotically, the painting constructs a geometry of solitude — the empty architectural masses, the sharp shadow cast on the asphalt, the Hopperian silence of the deserted parking lot — against which the sweet pink of the bodywork has the effect of a promise too perfect. The finish, smooth and unembellished, belongs more to American precisionism than to the impressionist brushwork.

About the artist:
LeYack (born 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern narrative with pictorial heritage. Drawing inspiration from photography and cinema, he reframes the codes of realism to inject palpable emotional tension. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
