A 40 x 40 cm giclée print on canvas titled 'A Clean, Well-Lighted Place - Hand signed', created in 2026, hand-signed by the artist on front and back, limited edition of 20, produced in France, in an Art Deco style, with a certificate of authenticity and ready to frame.
Description from the seller
Pure Hopperian register. Under a conical pendant that pours a white halo, a woman in a bottle-green jacket is seated alone at a table, her cheek resting on her hand, a cup of coffee and a sugar bowl before her. Beyond the large window, the night street stretches, deserted, in a deep night blue: dimmed façades, lampposts lit, the gilded shop windows of a hatter in the distance. Semiotically, the pane separates two solitudes — the lit, warm interior and the vast, cold exterior — and the woman's lost gaze crosses this boundary without passing through. The contrast between the muted green of her jacket, the amber of the shop windows, and the night blue constructs an urban melancholy where artificial light serves as a form of comfort. It all speaks of waiting, the late hour, the city that sleeps.

About the artist:
LeYack (born in 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern narration with pictorial heritage. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
