Description from the seller
The painting - "Anna" - 50 x 40 cm, varnish, oil on canvas, author's certificate.
Author - Piotr Sujka (born 1971).
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the painting and mural painting department. He is primarily engaged in sacred painting. He is the author of polychromes in churches in Albania (Tirana, Lezhë, Balldren, Shkoder, Derven and many others) where he lived and worked for 10 years. In Poland, he is the author of polychromes in churches in Warsaw, Lublin, Łęczna, Puławy.
His passion is above all figurative art.
In easel painting, the dominant subject is mainly his favorite topic of a woman, a portrait presented in a simplified manner, distant from realism but also distant from abstraction.
As a versatile artist he paints landscapes en plein air, realistic, sometimes bordering on abstraction. Thus documenting the places where he stayed. The painting "Anna" dates from 2026. The painting is on canvas with dimensions 50x40 cm.
