AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Sculpture PARFUM rouge Cartier by Jean-François Piecourt, all in thermolacquered steel, edition of 499 pieces with random numbering, hand-signed

21 x 13 x 5 cm

MY ART
My work rests on a completely controlled creation process, at the boundary between industrial design and contemporary sculpture.
Each piece originates from the design of an original 3D model, then cut into a succession of planes.
Each plane is redrawn, reworked and sculpted individually, giving birth to a sculpture within a sculpture, where each slice has its own reading.
The whole is then laser-cut in raw steel, then assembled manually by a precise mechanical assembly, slice by slice.
Once the work is assembled, it is epoxy powder-coated, sealing the material and providing a durable and homogeneous finish, the final signature of the piece.
