Joaquín Capa (1941) is a Spanish painter and printmaker known for his lyrical abstraction and refined exploration of color, texture, and gesture. Born in Madrid, he developed a highly personal visual language in which balance, light, and materiality play a central role. Throughout his career, he combined painting with an outstanding production of graphic works, including etchings and lithographs, translating the same expressive sensitivity and compositional rigor into printmaking.
