Elegant soap holder belonging to a toilet service, made by the historic English manufacturer Copeland of Stoke-on-Trent, dating to the late 19th - early 20th century.
The item is crafted in fine English ceramic with refined blue floral decoration underglaze and is complete with all its original components: base, perforated inner grate, and lid with original ceramic knob.
The Copeland mark is impressed both on the base and under the lid, confirming production by the famous English manufacturer.
The condition is very good for its age, with normal signs of wear. No restorations. The decoration is well preserved and the piece presents excellent aesthetic quality.
