There is a special story behind this game.

In the early 1980s, Nintendo released a Wide Screen in the Game & Watch line featuring Mickey Mouse. For certain markets the Disney license was not available. Nintendo therefore chose an alternative with identical gameplay but without Disney characters: Egg. Thus two nearly identical editions arose—one with Mickey, and one without—making this Mickey Mouse Wide Screen today extra interesting for collectors.
