The artist:
Artist still living and active, considering the creative process as important as the final result, he early on discovered the appropriationist movement. Originating from contemporary art, this movement advocates the appropriation of different media to create new meanings. He thus began to explore this artistic approach and started collecting magazines, old books, and photographs to feed his creativity. He freely mixes photographs, illustrations, and texts to create his compositions. He spends hours rummaging through piles of magazines and old photo albums in search of the perfect image for his collages, particularly images that seem to have no apparent link between them, finding in them a kind of unlimited artistic freedom, knowing that these disparate images would eventually be brought together to tell a new story. Using his photography skills to create the images for his collages, the camera remains the basic tool for capturing textures, patterns, and everyday objects. Each collage is a full-fledged artistic adventure.
Colors, shapes, and textures create striking contrasts. The idea that every spectator can interpret his work and find their own meaning is almost a daily leit motif. He seems to have the ability to see beauty and potential even in the most insignificant things and believes that art can be found everywhere, even in the tiniest details of daily life. While continuing to push the boundaries of collage art, he keeps experimenting with new materials and techniques.
