Val Saint Lambert - Flower pot - Wave - Crystal

Rare crystal vase in the shape of wings (model "Wave") from the famous Belgian manufactory Val Saint Lambert, created between the 1950s and 1970s.
The design on the vase is created using acid-etching.
The hydrofluoric acid delicately burns the exposed areas of the glass, creating a matte tropical leaf pattern (Monstera and palms) in relief that contrasts with the shiny, smooth surface of the crystal.
The bottom of the vase is made of dense green glass, gradually transforming into two free, transparent and substantial edges, reminiscent of wings or a wave crest.
