In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, texture and depth change, individual layers become more pronounced. The work feels spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, or lingering.

Frequency PURPLE METALLIC is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency PURPLE METALLIC
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up layer by layer with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.
Only top-quality materials are used: Acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide stretcher frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(The black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works come alive.
