Lock and key (2)

This is an antique early 19th Century (possibly earlier) French rim lock featuring an integral spring lever and double throw bolt mechanism.
The wrought iron lock is designed to be mounted on the surface of a door rather than mortised into it.
It includes a key and functioning internal components like a large bolt and ornate spring.
This lock is in full working order and is one of my collection that has been completely checked and set to it's original functioning condition by a famous French Locks specialist Antoine Buisson, who stamped the lever.
